Mixed Mode - To increase effectiveness in delivering projects, we often work in mixed mode. This includes onsite-offshore teams, offsite-offshore teams or onsite-offsite teams.

PRICING MODELS

Fixed Price - We undertake fixed price projects where we respond to customer RFP by giving them competitive time and cost estimate.

Time and Material - We undertake projects where customers pay on time and material basis. This is more common in onsite model.

Lab-4-Hire - This model is unique in a way that clients hire offshore resources on a monthly basis and we assigning a support team of architects, designers and team leads to the engagement.

ENGINEERING PRACTICE

Telescient follows all the traditional practices of software engineering to develop products and solutions.

We have recently adopted a new framework based approach for all our software development initiatives. This approach has resulted in tremendous efficiency and quality gains.

Our basic principle of framework based approach is to enable developers to build software within a certain set of constraints and through the use of automatic code generation. One example of code generation is that we today have capability to generate large number of error-free add/update/list programs within a few days.

With each new implementation of software, our framework components are expanding and getting richer in features.

We have implemented a quality management system that consists of documents to cover all phases of SDLC. Additionally, we have an online system called TrackIT that gives us capability to manage all aspects of software development, including time recording and project reporting.
